A bit overwhelmed by this sensation I walk to the next big photo in the museum and the same thing happens to me again. I’m looking at an old market on the picture and I can sense the energy of the place. Almost as if I'm there... at the market.
And from that moment I could feel what I always knew: photography isn’t just taking pictures. It’s a deep reflection of the energy. It will bring you back to the place or person, not only in your memory, but if you’re open to it, with all of your senses.

I'm Valerie, a free soul born in The Netherlands, but I knew I always wanted to see more of the world. As soon as I became 18 years old I booked my first flight ticket and traveled to South Africa for a month. From that moment I can't remember I stayed home for more then a few months.
I love to explore new countries, meet new people and learn from all the cultures.
I recharge in nature, love to challenge myself to climb the highest mountains, or learn to ride a horse during sunrise hours along the beach. I'm in love with life and find beauty in the smallest things. You can find me happily jumping around during a photoshoot when we find the perfect spot with the most amazing light, MAGIC!
I'm a calm, enthusiastic and loving human being who loves to connect with likeminded people to create some magic together.

Wie is Valerie Visschedijk?
Valerie Visschedijk is een Nederlandse fotograaf en videograaf, gevestigd in Doetinchem. Ze fotografeert bruiloften, gezinnen, baby's en ondernemers, met een focus op pure en spontane momenten.
Waar is Valerie Visschedijk werkzaam als fotograaf?
Valerie werkt vanuit Doetinchem, maar is beschikbaar door heel Nederland en daarbuiten voor fotografie en videografie.
Kan ik Valerie Visschedijk vragen voor een fotoshoot in het buitenland?
Jazeker, Valerie gaat regelmatig naar het buitenland voor een fotoshoot of video opname. Je kunt een lokale fotograaf boeken, of je neemt Valerie mee waardoor je in je eigen taal kunt blijven communiceren en ook de Nederlandse werkwijze (ja, Nederlanders zijn nou eenmaal op tijd, precies én een tikje direct) meeneemt.
Waarin is Valerie Visschedijk gespecialiseerd?
Valerie fotografeert portretten en werkt graag met mensen. Zij heeft een opleiding als HBO pedagoog dus kan kinderen haarfijn aanvoelen, maar ook voor de fotografie heeft zij -naast jarenlange ervaring in de praktijk- een basisdiploma behaald aan de Fotovakschool.
Doet Valerie Visschedijk ook videografie?
Ja, naast fotografie biedt Valerie ook videografie aan, bijvoorbeeld voor zakelijke projecten.
