I remember the moment I walked into the Photography Museum in Marrakech. I’m looking at a beautiful portrait of a Moroccan man and when I stare into his beautiful eyes it's almost as if I could communicate with this man.

 

A bit overwhelmed by this sensation I walk to the next big photo in the museum and the same thing happens to me again. I’m looking at an old market on the picture and I can sense the energy of the place. Almost as if I'm there... at the market.

 

And from that moment I could feel what I always knew: photography isn’t just taking pictures. It’s a deep reflection of the energy. It will bring you back to the place or person, not only in your memory, but if you’re open to it, with all of your senses.
