I remember the moment I walked into the Photography Museum in Marrakech. I’m looking at a beautiful portrait of a Moroccan man when I feel the energy in my body changing. I can feel his energy. Almost as if I could communicate with this man. A bit overwhelmed by this sensation I walk to the next big photo in the museum and the same thing happens to me again. I’m looking at an old market on the picture and I can sense the energy of the place. I’m there. I’m at the market.
And from that moment I could feel what I always knew: photography isn’t just taking pictures. It’s a deep reflection of the energy in front of the camera. It will bring you back to the place or person, not only in your memory, but if you’re open to it, with all of your being.

It all started when I was 18 years young, playing around with my first 'big' camera. I figured out how to use the light, the objects or models and real quick this passion grew into something that we call 'work'.
After finishing my social studies I started to dive deeply into my photography business. Over time I shot thousands of portraits, hundreds of weddings, a few destination weddings all over the world and captured baby's and births until I was done with it. I quit with all of it. Had to say goodbye to my employee, sold my camera's and deleted my portfolio. Started a new online business and started to travel fulltime.
While traveling I finally relaxed. All the chaos, the full calendar and the pressure to let the business grow every month became too much, but outside the country and without the business I started to let go of it all.
Because I was traveling to the most pure and authentic places I started to take pictures again. Creating and playing with the light, without any pressure, made me find back my passion. It was a 3 year break before I could say the words again: I'm a photo- and videographer.
It was a rough but lovely journey which learned me how to stay connected with passion, attracting the most amazing clients and creating images with
depth.
I'm working with the people who see the beauty in sunrises and sunsets, people who appreciate the smallest things in life, people who don't need more and more but are grateful with everything they have, people who live in love and spread more love, people with a creative mind and a passionate heart.
